VPN Disabled by Carrier & Norton/Google Made Aware But Subscription Continued & Automatically Renewed. Help!!

Automatic Renewal just occurred for NORTON VPN (Android 11) when both NORTON & GOOGLE were made aware of issues accessing the Internet. My carrier support disabled the VPN and the WIFI service I shared. Subscription service continued and was automatically renewed only recently. My financial institution did a stop payment and flagged the request for payment for some coding issue, but before I could explain that I'm paying for service I don't have, Google was successful in the second attempt for renewal. Ultimately I initiated a cancellation which appears to not serve me financially because now, the subscriptions runs until August 2023 without benefit of refund. I do have other NORTON products installed but feel ignored where this matter is concerned. Did I miss some fine print?

Re: VPN Disabled by Carrier & Norton/Google Made Aware But Subscription Continued & Automatically Renewed. Help!!

Just because you made some contact to let Norton and Google aware that your ISP does not support VPNs, that would not have been any reason for Google or Norton cancelling your VPN subscription. You would still be able to use the VPN when away from your home network, which is really where you need this service.

Also, you say you have other Norton products installed. If you have 360 Android installed, you do not need the standalone Norton Secure VPN app. Just use the VPN feature in 360.

Did you purchase the VPN subscription directly from Norton or from the Google Play Store? Norton has a 60 day refund policy, so you should still be able to get a refund.
