Norton scam campaign to sell other related products.

Hello, this is a venting message, I am a computer technician and I usually repair my clients' PCs, I always suggest Norton 360, but since the last version, Norton scares my clients, Norton indicates that there are errors in their registry, and it suggests the sale of a product to correct the problem.

I've had a lot of calls from my customers not knowing what to do with this error message.  Is this Norton's new scare campaign to sell products, and since when did Norton start spamming? The software suppose to protect from spam, maybe I should uninstall all norton spamming software than.

You see, this dubious marketing method is causing me more trouble than anything else. Next year I will suggest to my 150 customers another security system.

Which security system do you intend to recommend to them?

No software recommandation. Install a fresh windows version than install Norton than install any other software and Norton will detect prob in the registry. Do you think there's really a prob? Norton clearly spam their users with unwanted popup telling them their computer is at risk. This is clearly a scare campain to sell their software.
