Data Protector (Norton Internet Security) blocks regular File operation (change of Date/Time)

Since some time now we have Malfunctions in some Applications because the NIS blocks some regular File Operations.
Mostly these are Attempts to change the Date/Time of a File.
(This is really nothing unusual and is done many times every Day)

Example:

1. Our App moves a File and then tries to change the Date/Time to NOW.
The NIS blocks the Attempt to change Date/Time to NOW.

2. Our App overwrites a File with an older File and then tries do change the Date/Time to an older Date/Time.
The NIS blocks the Attempt to change Date/Time to an older Date/Time.

At the time when the NIS is blocking the File Operation the following Window pops up:

As you can see there are no options.
I can not tell the NIS "please do not block operation" because there are no options at all.
The File Operation is blocked and thats it.

We tried to exclude our App from the NIS-Engine, but that did not help.
Using a different App like a File Manager shows no Problem, with that the same File Operations can be done and are not blocked by the NIS. Very strange.

Dear Norton: Please find a Solution or allow the User to tell you if that blocking was ok or not.
You can not just block everything you do not like, because some Apps might not work properly anymore.

Naja, jeder Rat kann nützlich oder teuer sein und eine Rückantwort daraus macht ihn noch und noch schöner Well, any advice can be useful or expensive and a response from it makes it even more beautiful

Why is there no Solution / Answer ?

Reporting the App will not solve anything, tried that already.
Excluding the App is already done. But still its blocked.

The App does not work proberly.

Please change something and make it work again.

All Actions done by the NIS must be reversible in case that Function is needed.
Please do not block file operations without any possibility for the user to report problems.

And please answer your customers.

It is disappointing to see that nothing is happening...

I can exclude the App and stil Data Protector influences the Operation of the App.
After that it only offers me to remove the exlusion of that App (which will not help at all).

Why is Data Protector blocking regular File-Operations ?
Sometimes Files can not be overwritten because Norton is blocking that too.

What are you doing ? ? ? And why is the User not allowed to reverse this or disable it for certain Apps ?

Please do something.
