Norton 360 app windows opens after startup

Hi,

Whenever I restart/reboot my macbook, the Norton 360 app window is opening on the desktop. So everytime I manually need close the app window which is annoying. Of course I want Norton 360 automatically start when restarting/rebooting my macbook but I want to do it in the background. I have plenty of other apps able to do this, they just start in the background and keep working in the background. But why is Norton 360 not doing this? How can I change this? 

Would be happy if anyone could assist.

Thank you for posting on the Norton Community. Could you please share a screenshot of the Norton 360 UI as soon as you reboot? Also, could you please share your OS details? Thank you.

Hello. 

I am using MacOS Ventura 13.2 on an M1 chip MacBook.

Not sure how to attach a screenshot as jpg/png here to the thread but I have attached the screenshot as pdf. The screenshot is taken immediately after restart

I'm having the same issue with a regular old PC with windows 7 (no i will NOT update to win10 or win11).  It only started happening after this last update.

I am having the same problem on Windows 10 since the update to 22.23.1.21 of Norton Security. I REALLY do NOT want to see the Norton window on my desktop automatically open up at start up as it provides no useful purpose and is simply an annoyance. The icon in the taskbar notify area is completely sufficient.

Not happening to me any longer for the past couple days with my Norton Security 22.23.1.21 in Windows. I think I saw a tiny product update come through when I had run LiveUpdate. Don't know if solved for other people, but it is OK for me now. I no longer get the unwanted Norton Security window on my desktop at start up.
