Special Offers / Advertisements

Having used Norton for over ten years, I have to say that I am very disappointed in all of the advertisements and special offers that I see contained within the software.  I would not expect to see these kinds of things with a paid subscription.  Nor should things kinds of things be activated by default.  I realize that you can deactivate these alleged "special offers," but they go back to being "activated" right after any kind of large update.  This is annoying enough that this will probably be my last year of subscribing to Norton.  It is looking more and more like some cheap bloatware with these pathetic "alerts" and advertisements.
