Antivirus installation on Mac can't continue after restart

I just ordered antivirus plus yesterday. When I installed it on my Mac , I found that the installation windows didn't pop up for the rest of installation steps when  I restarted Mac after finishing downloading  and installing software.

There was no step 5 and further as the instruction showed below.

My Mac OS is Catalina 10.15.2.

I've asked this thread be moved to the Mac forum board for better exposure to Mac users.

I take it you had clicked on the instructions for installation on Mac OS 10.15 and up. Instruction 5 in that section refers to a preferences option in the installation after the restart. The instructions from #6 on seem to deal with issues with OS security settings that might cause issues with the installation. Have you followed those suggestions?

Thanks for the reply, my issue is there is no Norton setup window pop up after  I restart Mac. So I can't do any setting up such as step 6 and the following as instruction mentioned. Norton antivirus will be auto stopped when I try to start it by click its app icon. One word, Norton can't run on my Mac.

Hello. Are you downloading your product from your Norton account? The link there should get you the version that will properly install.
