Unable to connect to VPN server whilst in Greece

Hi, I'm in Greece and am connected to an insecure WiFi network in my hotel. When I try to use Norton VPN with auto region, or UK selected I am unable to connect to a VPN server, why? Fyi, I have connected successfully many times in the UK via my phone.

What device and Android version are you using?

Can you connect if you manually choose a different region? 

Are you seeing any error messages when you cannot connect?

Are you using the VPN feature in Norton 360 or are you using the standalone Norton Secure VPN app? 

Have you tried using the VPN from another wifi hotspot in Greece, a cafe or other business? It may be something in the hotel's network configuration that is interfering with the VPN.

I'm using a Poco x3 NFC, android 12. I've tried auto region, UK and Ireland without any success.i see 'secure VPN is having trouble connecting to the server'. I'm using the VPN via Norton 360. I haven't been able to try an alternative WiFi network in Greece yet but I did download the turbo VPN Android app and that seems to connect ok (the IP address reported by Norton changed when turbo VPN connected).

If you do get a chance to try another wifi connection, please post back. Glad you found a work around for now.
