I just got this message today, Trojan.backdoor Activity 620, pops up every minute. Is Norton Power Eraser safe to use with these problems?

Norton Power Eraser is safe to run...just to see...what Norton Power Eraser reports.
Please post back progress.
Review Norton Power Eraser scan results...and be sure...before clicking the Fix button, which will make your changes permanent. There is a risk that legitimate programs can be marked for removal.
Did you recently install any programs / browser extensions?
Did you change any website permissions?
Did you allow push notifications?
Maybe, run Malwarebytes scan.

Threat Blocked System Infected:Trojan. Backdoor Activity 620. Comes up about every 30 seconds. It said to use Norton Power Eraser. I did. It said it found something and then fixed it. A few minutes later I shut down and started up again and the error message came back. Just ran Power Eraser again and it said it doesn't find anything even though the error message is coming up on the same screen. see attached

Did you run Smart Scan?

From what I saw on the Norton Power Eraser report I think the problem started about 1130PM last night when i was looking at a government site doing family history research. But then Power Eraser said it had fixed the problem but the pop-ups continued. I then downloaded the Malwarebytes but it wasn't as user friendly as it was in the past. It came back with 12 possible issues but the log didn't show software names or the date the software downloaded to know which items it was displaying. I quarantined a few of the items and ran again, at which time it said system was clean, then the Norton Trojan virus pop-up came on again (see attached).
