Emails from norton@secure.norton.com

Repeated emails to say my Norton subscription has expired: it hasn't: I renewed it about a week before expiry date, and checking my account online shows that renewal was successful. So why do they keep sending me these ever more disturbing emails? I'm beginning to wonder if they are not genuine but from some scammer?

Re: Emails from norton@secure.norton.com

Hello TrishS. The messages are legit as shown in the article below. From time to time, Norton services get all goofy and send out messages repeatedly, I've seen them and just ignore them since I already know the status of my account. Just ignore them. You CAN adjust your settings for messages and other media from inside your Norton account which will stop these. Keep in mind that even so it will take a few days for the settings changes to resonate within the Norton databases globally. Hope that helps.

Re: Emails from norton@secure.norton.com

Did you renew by purchasing a new subscription from Norton or another retailer. If so, the messages you are getting are for the old subscription you replaced, which has in fact expired. These are automated emails and should stop about 30 days after the expiry of the old subscription.
