Hello, I was wondering why on windows 11, edge and chrome browsers open a second "safe search" tab everytime i do a safe search. not really a problem, just an annoyance to close all the open tabs.

Curious, does your Edge/Chrome open multiple tabs on startup?

Edge by default does MS own settings. 3 dots at top right corner Settings - Start, Home, New Tabs Option.- when Edge Starts. If second option is On, each time you open it will load last closed tabs, next time it will load them plus any additional tabs added
