How to change to https://

Hello,

I have my current website registered and verified on Norton Safe Web with an http:// prefix.

The latest, and current, version uses an https:// prefix.  I have tried to register the new version in my account but it tells me that it is already registered.  Is it necessary to update the prefix or is the domain name sufficient please?

Thank you

Alan

Re: How to change to https://

Yes, by my observation...protocol is not a factor.

Re: How to change to https://

Care to share domain name?
Have you submitted https: //name for rating review?
I'm thinking https: //name is rated same as http: //name

Note: Community Buzz = no protocol.

  1. Go to https://safeweb.norton.com.
  2. Enter the website you want us to evaluate in the search field and press Enter.
  3. Click on "Click here to submit a dispute".
  4. Enter the required details in the form and click on Submit button.

Website ownership verification is not needed for website rating review.

Website ownership verification primary goal is to allow the website owners to monitor their websites and get email notifications anytime their website changes NSW rating.

Once a website is verified, the owner may initiate the rating review from the options provided for the website owners. However, the rating evaluation request provides the same flow as for non-owners so it may be faster to submit the website in the NSW portal UI as anybody can.

Re: How to change to https://

I have tried to submit https://retiredandangry.co.uk to add it my account, but it tells me it’s already registered, but that is with http prefix. It’s quite probable that Norton treats them both the same, I was looking for confirmation or guidance if not
