Norton Internet Security 2011 for Windows PC's should look for Apple Mac OS X threats while running a full scan.

But not only Mac OS X threats. NIS2011 should even look for Mac OS 9 and below(before OS X) threats and Linux threats(old and new)  Sophos AntiVirus for Windows does this, why doesn't Norton.

Don't they already do? I agree with this.  That ways Windows user don't infect Apple users or vice versa.

The answer is Yes we do this already. All Apple OS threats are also scanned on PC.

Threat samples are collected from PC and Apple Mac OS; and Norton publishes the AV definitions.

Isn't there already a separate Norton product for Mac's and a separate Forum for Mac's?

Success always occurs in private and failure in full view. Windows 10 Pro 64 bit 2004 N 360 22.20.5.39 Chrome latest version.
