Norton VPN Split tunneling

Hi,

I want to add programs to split tunnel. But those programs are in user/userName/AppData/.. folder.  When using vpn split tunnel option and jumping in directory it stops in /userName.....

AppData is a hidden folder and not seen in jumping list and there is no option to enter it manually.

Is there a solution or other way to get those programs is hidden folder to list?

Only problem is that those .exe files to exclude are in AppData folder or under it. Its not possible to select those files in hidden folder AppData because its not available in folder selection window.

Re: Norton VPN Split tunneling

You need to exclude the .exe file for an app you want to add to the Split Tunnel feature.  The .exe files are usually in Program Files, or Program Files (x86). Program data just stores information required for apps.

Can you give an example of a program that stores their .exe in App Data?

Have you looked in Program Files or Program Files (x86)?

One thing to check. Make sure you are trying to access AppData for your user account. You may not have access to another user's account.

Re: Norton VPN Split tunneling

Those apps are roon.exe and RAATserver.exe used by music service Roon. With vpn I must exclude those programs when using vpn. So split tunnel is a solution to keep Roon working in my home network while I'm working in vpn tunnel. My main coputer for every day work is also Roon core. So I'm trying to use normally vpn and also my music service running.
