Notification Email

I ran a few tests on the web blocking and it seemed to work quite well. I checked the activity log and the inappropriate searches showed in red.(Very Nice) I have yet receive any notification emails yet. I have everything checked in the set up for notifications. IE7 /Vista 32bit and XP Pro.

Thanks for your interest in the OnlineFamily.Norton product.

The notification email for web activity are sent only when

1. a warning to enter a site is ignored and the web site is visited.

2. kid visits a site that is blocked for him.(We will still allow him to go to that site if he is setup in the monitoring mode.)

Can you let us know what action you performed so that we can find out whether it would trigger a email or not?

Can you also confirm that you have checked atleast one email address on the page where you have set up the notifications?

I attempted to enter several blocked sites. They showed in the activity screen in red. I thought I would receive a notification in the event my child attempted to access a blocked site.

Could you go to Settings--> Notifications and verify that all of the notification options have been checked,

Yes, all options have been selected including 2 different email addresses.

Just a thought, but higgi88, are you checking the Spam or Junk mail folder in your inbox?
