Please provide a scanning progress feature!

There is no way that I could open a scanning progress from the software other than the progress window that automatically showed up when I start a scan. For example, if I accidentally closed the progress window then I cannot open it up anymore.

If you try to close the scan window, do you not get a warning that the scan is not complete, and that the scan will be stopped if you continue?
