Restore My User ID

I joined the Norton Community on 01-Nov-2012 under the User ID of wnyhusker.  On 06-Jun-2016 I updated my profile and somehow my User ID changed to my real name, Christopher Schulte.  I do not want to use my real name as my User ID for privacy reasons, but the system will not allow me to ‘reconnect’ with my ORIGINAL User ID - the system says this User ID is in use and unavailable to me.  I understand in the past our systems weren’t ‘smart’ enough to handle linking old user ID’s to newer profile updates or duplicate new user creations, but today there’s no excuse when the personal profiles are identical, and only the User ID’s, or essentially the screen names, are different.  Is this not a reasonable request??

Your forum login is now associated with your Norton Account email and password. Not your forum username. Try that to see if you can access your older account.

No, that didn’t do it.  Doesn’t appear to be possible.
