Warum wird auf meinem Smartphone (Samsung Galaxy S8) ständig auf dem Button von Norton Security eine "1" angezeigt, obwohl gem. App nichts zu unternehmen ist? Alle Schutzfunktionen stehen bei 100 % und es gibt keinerlei Hinweis, was zu unternehmen ist, um die lästige "1" endlich wegzubekommen!

Why is a "1" constantly displayed on the Norton Security button on my smartphone (Samsung Galaxy S8), although according to App is nothing to do? All protection functions are at 100% and there is no indication of what to do to finally get rid of the annoying "1"!
This sounds like the App icon badges that are displayed on the app's icon when there is a notification that can be seen in the notification area at the top of the screen. This is an Android feature that can be disabled in Android Settings > Notifications > App Icon Badges.
The number on the icon can also be removed by clearing all notifications in the notification area. But the number will still return when there is a new notification available.

Aus meinen Erfahrungen in diversen Benachrichtigungsportalen( dazu zählt auch die ,,Posteingangs-Funktion im Forum hier) kann auch ein Lesen der Nachricht dieses Button entfernen( wenn es sich laut ,,peterweb" um ein Nachrichtensymbol handelt).
Ich kann Dir leider den Tipp nur so geben, da ich noch ein OLD-HANDY-MENSCH bin.
