Have to restart VPN on every system start-up

Is there a way to have VPN r-established automatically after every start-up of ma iMac? I always get the "system at risk" message everytime I start the system, even upon waking it.

Similar issue on a MacBook running macOS 11.1.  I recently uninstalled and reinstalled Norton 360 on the machine.  Everything's working, except that I have to "turn on" the VPN every time I restart.  As I recall, it does persist through "sleeps" but with each restart, I have to reconnect.  I do not remember having to do so with the previous version I had (of N360).
