Notifications of issues/outages

Would it be possible to get some kind of notifications when mining is down via email or some other method. Understanding that the product is new and will have issues. Would be nice for people to be able to shut machines down for extended issues as a lot of time with this software the gpu still runs at 100%. Just a thought.

Re: Notifications of issues/outages

You are correct this is a very new feature for us and as with anything new there are unknown scenarios related to this new system. The issues we are resolving should have no effect on your ability to mine and earn. All of that continues to be tracked appropriately. With the updates today we believe we have solved the issues we were experiencing on the backend. There was one client issue we resolved as well with a hotfix that applied to iGPUs where we inadvertently allowed multiple GPUs (even a very underpowered Intel) to mine which caused the miner to hang. That problem was fixed this past weekend and those machines should have restarted their miners.

I would be kool if there was Norton Mining app that connects with your PC and able to see the status and updates. Maybe in the future. I agree with battlecat.

You can see the status of your "pcs" from the https://my.norton.com/extspa/crypto page, however it may be that you are looking for an actual mobile app. As of now you can view that same location from a browser on your phone.
