How does one submit a suggestion to the Norton technical team?

Hello,

There are a couple suggestions I wanted to make to the Norton Technical team for improvements to Norton Family, which I believe would make it a better product. Is there any easy way to do so? And how receptive are they to client suggestions?

you can post your suggestion(s) here, as both the Norton Family product managers and engineering leaders monitor this forum, and yes we are always looking for customers perspective in making our product(s) better, be aware there may be technical limitations, but all suggestions are welcome

My suggestions are regarding the ability to control individual devices in the following situations:

  1. The Instant Lock function seems to lock all devices. However there may be times when a parent may need to lock just one or two specific devices, leaving another one unlocked. Example, a parent may want to instant lock a cell phone, while leaving the child with the access to a laptop for their school work
  2. Similarly, when the total time for the day has expired (or when there is no allotted time slot active) for a given device or all devices, I suggest that there should be an "UNLOCK" function for individual devices, so that access can be easily granted to a particular device. Right now, the only way I have found to give my son access when time has expired is to turn off time management for all devices, or he has to send me an extension request. It would be nice to have instant unlock control for specific devices.
  3.  Regarding the "School Time" function, it would be good to allow parents to select which device(s) that this feature applies to. It seems that this feature allows access to all devices during that time, albeit with restrictions. However, I may want my son to be solely using his laptop for online class during "school time", but not have access to his cell phone during that time (which I have not given regular time slots during this period). 

Hoping to get some feedback from the technical staff and hopefully see some of these feature implemented in the next update. Thanks!
