Norton Antitrack causes shutdown error

After installing Norton antitrack when I shutdown I am receiving an error message ATTray.exe - application error. ATTray.exe is an executable from C:\Program Files\Norton AntiTrack\Engine32 directory. Why does this error occur and more importantly how is it resolved?
