Multiple Logins presented by Norton 360

When attempting to login to several of the websites I have passwords for, Norton presents multiple selections of names with associated passwords for those sites. For one site I have four selections using the same login name but different passwords and two login names that are my email and different passwords. It becomes a guessing game as to which login presented by Norton is correct (maybe the latest ?) and some sites will kick you after a limited number of login attempts. Why is Norton retaining what appears to be expired passwords for the same login name ?
