I ran the remove and reinstall tool and my smart scan disappeared from My Norton screen. I am running Window 10. I ran live update.

Try restarting your computer again. Restart, not shutdown and startup if you have Windows Fast Startup feature enabled. If you use Windows 8/8.1, 10 or 11, there can be an issue with the Windows Fast Startup feature.. See more information here.

I tried restarting the computer. The smart scan is still not available.
