How do I read N360 backup files when they are encrypted?

When Norton 360 does a backup of my files to an external hard drive, the files are heavily encrypted with no extensions.

For example, 12231D3ZA008-603B-4N47-B56S-4B9112CW7E5C (not the actual name in case someone can read it)

How am I suppose to read these files?

Find missing files or backup sets when restoring them from a local storage media with Norton
