I have a backup thru Norton,I need to know how to install on a thumb drive so my dell laptop will install it??

If you used the Norton online cloud as the backup destination, all you have to do is install Norton 360 on your laptop and run the Restore function of the Backup feature. When you start the restore, you can choose the Secure Online Storage and will be able to choose the backup set you wish to restore.
If you cannot install 360 on the laptop for some reason, you would need to do a Restore from the computer you made the backup. When choosing where to install, choose to restore to a different location and choose the thumb drive as the destination. Then you can take those restored files to the laptop.

I need to explain futher i guess,when I get to my backup I dont know what to or at what point to try to move to the drive so I can then move it to the laptop needed,maybe a screen shot on where to click on it etc???
