Norton 360 is deleting all emails I send to myself in Outlook 2021

Running Windows 10, Outlook 2021 and using Gmail as my mailer. Today, I was notified that I needed to download the newest version of Norton 360 (after I started receiving a "SONAR Protection can't be fixed" error message) I downloaded the Norton Removal and Reinstall tool, and everything appears to have been properly uninstalled and reinstalled the latest version of Norton 22.22.6.10. However, now, if I happen to try and send myself an email while in Outlook 2021, the email will appear temporarily in my Inbox folder correctly, and then within seconds, it is deleted out automatically as well as deleted out in my Sent Items folder. I am assuming that this is a function of the Antispam feature? This only appears to be happening to emails that I send myself. Question is how do I stop this from happening and where are all these emails (it looks like it also removed several other emails from my Sent Items folder going back to 06-30-22) going to? Can I recover them? Thanks.

Are the messages in your Drafts folder?  Norton AntiSpam only appends "[Norton AntiSpam]" to the subject line and moves a message to the Norton AntiSpam folder.  If you have Norton Email scanning enabled, you might try disabling that to see if that resolves the issue.

Re: Norton 360 is deleting all emails I send to myself in Outlook 2021

I would like to add that only the emails I send myself through Outlook 2021 and when I delete out of my Inbox Folder it automatically deletes out of my Sent Folder. I just turned off the Antispam functionality in Norton 360 and it still persists. I wonder if it is a setting in Outlook 2021 itself(?)

As a test, check any mail rules you may have set, disable them and restart Outlook to see if the issue persists.
