How do I perform an on demand scan for an individual email?

Without opening an e-mail I want to right click and scan for a virus, how do I do this?

Depending on your email client, you can right click on the email and choose to Save, or Save As. Save the email to a place you can find it, Desktop comes to mind. Then using Windows Explorer you can right click on that file and you can scan it with Norton 360.
