When I try to export my password manager contents, all I get is a blank white page

On windows 11, using Firefox browser. When I try to export my password manager contents, all I get is a blank white page on my browser. I arrive there by opening my Norton 360, click on Internet security, then onto Password Manager, enter my password, then nothing but a blank white screen. I have the Firefox password extension installed and switched on. If I go direct to the password manager and open it and then go to 'Vault' click the three dots, followed by selecting export, after entering my password again, I just get a page of text, no option to export. Any ideas ?

CR42, when you get the output of the FF export you have to copy that information into a "delimited text file to excel". Review this MS article to covert it: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/import-or-export-text-txt-or-...

Thanks for the reply, Something has changed and not for the better. You never had to do it like that before. I could export a DAT file and was simply and straight forward. I did contact Norton support, but the guy didn't have a clue as to what exporting was and wanted to use a power eraser on my pc, that was time to walk away. Thanks again for trying.

Unfortunately the process I outlined is also the only way for me to export in Opera GX as well. I hope Norton makes this more simplified in the future for customers who don't have the means nor the time to be creating excel files and convert them to texts for backups.

One last possible option is to use Internet Explorer and the Norton Toolbar to try to make a backup like you might be remembering.

Although this is probably no longer possible with Windows 11.

Thanks for the suggestion Peter, I have abandoned the idea of backing up the vault and marked it down as another reason not to renew norton. As I have said, they have changed and not for the better. Thanks again.
