installation with a key from a physical card

Norton asks me in a no-reply e-mail to update my payment information.  My last update comes from Fnac where I bought a physical card with key.  I installed Norton several times because the installation is never complete or whatever.  I understand very well why, the installation program never asks for the key and I don't know how to get the key in the program when it doesn't ask for that.

At the moment I have no problems with the installation.  Can somebody give a clarification why you can install the program without key?

After installation, is anything shown in the interface by Subscription Status. Either a number of days, active, or trial?

You can try entering the product key at    www.norton.com/setup   That will initiate a download and install of the product associated with the product key.

1. Why do you need the payment information while you buy Norton somewhere in an offline store?  It all started with a broken sale page of Norton.

2. I have also a problem with inbox spam.  Every day I get in my gmail since many months several emails / day with a pdf with a photo of a woman leading to a datingsite of hotgirls.  The emails are sent to a whole series of gmails and they come from a hotmail with "name" a number of random characters.  You can put them om spam but they continue filling my inbox.  Most other emails moved to an other compartiment, only emails from my closest contacts still arrive under the first tab of my inbox.

In the beginning they were all dressed but now there started sending photo's of vaginas.  I don't understand very well why that always comes in my inbox.  Years ago every nude went spontaneously to the spam.  Probably the morals have changed but this is too boring.  I don't feel like closing that email account because I can always forget an important account I opened with that email.

1. Norton requires that you set up automatic renewal of your subscription when you activate your product. To do that they need billing information. You are free to remove that information from your Norton Account after activation if you do not want to use the automatic renewal 'feature'.

2. There is nothing anyone can do to stop spam from being sent to your email account. You can only filter email once it gets to your computer. You might try contacting your email provider to see if you can strengthen the spam filters from their end.
