Software updater repeatedly alerts me my browser is out of date. But it isn't. help?

Norton 360 ran a scan. alerted me that Microsoft Edge was out of date and needs updating. Everytime I hit the fix button it would say "update failed". i checked my browser settings and it was up to date? Yet Norton kept alerting me that it was running on an old version instead and requires updating? it is up to date. But there is red notification on my dashboard

Please advise?

Hello. Software Updater is not a mature feature of Norton just yet and is prone to false flags about updates and drivers. I wouldn't use it for that reason as that is most likely the scenario you are seeing. If you check Edge for updates within its settings and it reports current you are current.
