Norton firewall keeps asking for Chrome etc to allow/deny access to the internet

Recently, I have configured Norton 360's firewall to enable Application Blocking. Ever since I have done that, I have noticed after every system restart I will have to allow Chrome and NordVPN to access the internet. I can see the applications are there in the Norton's allow list already and their versions are same too. It's just too annoying. Is there any fix for this issue other than disable application blocking? Norton please add automatic firewall rule for known/digitally signed apps just like on Windows 

As shown in the screenshots, the Don't ask again for this application is checked but despite that it will keep asking again on system restart

Recently I have been noticing that even when the machine is not restarted, it will ask again for both Chrome and NordVPN. I don't have 8.8 installed as it's not available for me but does it fix that annoying issue?

This issue has still not been fixed in Norton 8.8. Do you guys keep sleeping when developing and testing apps for macOS? The features are neither on par and things don't work properly and/or incomplete. When will you fix this bug?

So I have noticed this problem is with other apps like Docker, Docker Helper and so many other apps too every day. Norton please fix your software or hire better developers and QA team

The only solution to this problem right now is to disable Application Blocking until and unless Norton fixes this bug. Can't believe they rollout half-baked features to the end users!!

I have the same issue OVER and OVER again.  and I have dutifully followed the help instructions to clear the offending app from the approved list and re-add it... no use.  

The instructions to remove and add apps to the approved list are useless.  I have NO IDEA what a prl_client or some random (to me) IP address is ... so I can't tell if its good or bad, should I allow or not.... so the only choice I have is to accept everything which kinda defeats the whole point doesn't it.

I use iDrive... it needs 4 or 5 "yeses" before it works and as for Adobe Creative cloud... well who knew how many connections that needs.

This issue seems to be "fixed" after a while but if macOS has an update or Norton has an update it comes right back and the irritating, useless "ask for permission" box drives me nuts for a few hours.

I have been a Norton customers since the 1980's but this is getting to the point where I'm shopping for alternatives that don't irritate me.
