How to configure Norton Secure VPN in Windows VPN Profile

I have encountered an issue with Microsoft Jigsaw.  The "free" version interrupts each game with an advert to "buy the pro version to disable adverts" (annoying harassment and bullying - why not just sell the product at the off?).  Today it simply failed to work as it could not find the advert to load so hung searching for it.  I basically had to disable the Norton Secure VPN, to allow the unwanted advert to load, so I could close it to go back to the game.  During a fruitless search of Microsoft agent to resolve this (the out come was "ask Norton") I came across a requirement when using a VPN to set up a Windows VPN Profile.  I thought this might be the issue but the profile screen seems to be trying to set up Windows VPN and does not provide the option to set up Norton Secure VPN. Simply searching for what I need to do regarding Windows VPN profile and a step by step guide to enabling this (if required) for Norton Secure VPN.  I should add I have latest version of Windows 11 Home (set to UK region) and latest version of Norton Secure VPN purchased via Norton 360 (latest version).

Re: How to configure Norton Secure VPN in Windows VPN Profile

The Norton VPN can only be set up in the Norton apps. You cannot set anything up in Windows to control the Norton VPN.

You might try adding .exe file for the Microsoft Jigsaw to the split tunnel feature of the Norton VPN. See this Norton product announcement for information on how to set this up.   https://community.norton.com/en/blogs/product-service-announcements/enab...

Thank you - was getting a little confused and forgot all about split-tunnel - of course I should have tried that.

Typical Microsoft-ism - you MUST have a Windows VPN profile - but only to use Windows VPN it seems.
