What are your views about Norton 360?

Hello Everyone

I have an eCommerce store where I sell the latest technology gadgets. I have a solid website, and my online presence is top-notch. Most importantly, all of my professional and personal data is kept on my laptop, which is risky. As an eCommerce store owner, my laptop data and software are more vulnerable to hacking and virus attacks. As a result, I decided to seek out the most effective anti-virus or security software.

I was looking for anti-virus software and came across Norton. Norton provides comprehensive protection against online threats, including viruses, malware, and phishing attacks. It also offers a variety of features to keep your devices and data safe. Norton is a trusted name in online security, and millions worldwide use its products. Norton's virus protection is among the best in the business. It uses various techniques to detect and block viruses, including heuristics, signatures, and behavioral analysis. Norton also has a strong phishing protection system that can detect and block malicious websites.

I still have some questions, as Google shows very good reviews of Norton.

How compatible are Norton products?

Is it possible to get coupons and deals for Norton? Is there any Norton 360 free trial?

Thanks!

Re: What are your views about Norton 360?

Norton 360 is a good product.

You need to buy the package that allows for as many devices as you have a need to protect. I have 5 licenses and have two PCs and two phones I run Norton 360 on. Whether they call it Deluxe or whatever does not matter just make sure the number of licenses is adequate for your needs.

You can add Lifelock if you desire but I do not. They include Dark Web Monitoring and Privacy Monitor in many packages and they are basic Lifelock programs. Lifelock is an alerting system for personal info that might have been stolen or hacked into.

Norton 360 runs very well on my Android 12 device.

Best way to purchase is thru a 3rd party retailer like Amazon or BestBuy when they have sales (like Black Friday).

I have been a Norton customer for years now. However, they are making things so difficult that I think it is time for a change. I am really struggling to put the protection on my wife's mobile as they have made it far too complicated. I bought a physical card from Curry's, managed eventually to get 12 month more protection, only to get a message from Norton days later saying my protection had run out. My account with them says otherwise. What is going on????

Is it possible that the message you were getting from Norton was referring to your old subscription expiring and not the new subscription?

xjoex is correct. The expired message is regarding your old subscription, which has expired. When you purchase and activate a new product key you are starting a new subscription. Norton has no way to know if you purchased a new key because you need to cover more devices.

The messages should stop within 30 days.

Re: What are your views about Norton 360?

I have been using Norton 360 deluxe for many years without any complaints until now. I am currently subscribe to Norton 360 Deluxe and I recently found out that the Dark Web Monitoring feature has not worked for almost two years. After spending many hours on the phone with their Global support staff including Supervisors over the past two weeks dark web monitoring still is not working. What I did learn is the staff I talked too don't know anything about dark web monitoring. On three seperate occasions over the past two weeks global support told me they would escalate my case to level 2 and/or level 3 technical support and I would be contacted. As recently as yesterday global support told me level 3 would be contacting me today and i have not been contacted. Since I live in the United States I have requested contact information for technical support staff in the United States and I was informed there is no way for me to contact support personnel in the United States, but global support would have them contact me. I still have not been contacted. I don't know what happened to the Norton company but unfortunately their support is useless at least when it come their dark web monitoring feature. Fortunately for my I have the same information being monitored by a Credit Bureau which does work!
