I spent an hour yesterday after I paid for my service.  No more damn questions.  It's sickening !

Tomorrow I will have my credit card company refund my money.  It's obvious Norton sucks and doesn't care !

Who assured you of removing viruses and stopping pop ups?

You should not install an AV product on a system that is already infected. The infection is likely to block the correct installation of any AV product.

What pop ups are you referring to? Again if it is from some infection, you need to clean the infection from your system before adding an AV product.

No one in the forums can access customer's accounts. You need to contact Norton Support to request a refund.    www.norton.com/contactcs   If using the chat feature, when you can enter information, enter "agent please" to get out of the chat bot and in contact with a human.

Another note is what is taking place, aka viruses? Browser popup's / redirects is what I am gathering? I would first begin with telling us what your OS is and its version/build. Also tell us what web browser you are using. These are both important in giving the proper advice to sanitize your computer. Start with disconneting the device from the internet. If you are on Windows boot the device in safe mode. Here is how:

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/advanced-startup-options-inc...

On an device that is NOT infected download Malwarebytes onto a USB flash drive. Insert that USB device into the infected computer and install the program then run a full scan. Disregard the notice you will receive that it cannot connect to the internet for updates. Run the scan anyway. Please let us know your results so we can assist further.
