NSc.exe error 0xc0000142 solution that works

After running multiple live updates, some actually loading something new, some not, and still getting the error, I decided to uninstall Norton 360, restart the computer at the prompt, and re-installing.  I have not gotten the error since after many days.  Currently doing the same on the laptop.

Make sure you fill out the "why am I un-installing" survey to let Norton know that this is not an isolated incident.
