Can i prevent the Password Manager icon from covering up the "Show" button on a login page?

In regards to this question posed by BigMatt on 11/23/2021, I just found something that worked for me but the thread was closed. Please refer to that thread for images as I am unable to reproduce them here.

I clicked the free space within the password field between my password that Norton Password Manager entered and the Norton Icon covering the Show Password icon. That placed a blinking cursor at the end of my (hidden) password. Press the tab button and a square box becomes highlighted around the Show Password icon behind the Norton icon. Press enter and the password is revealed.
