The issue with starting the "Norton family" on an Android device

Hello,

I have installed "Norton family" on my child's device (Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro phone) and every few days I get the notification "Accessibility service turned off in child's device".

So when I try to open "Norton family" on my child's device then I get the Google Chrome start page.

How can I solve this?

Thanks in advance,

RK

Re: The issue with starting the "Norton family" on an Android device

Hi @Rusmir Kahvo,

Welcome to Norton Family Forum.

From the backend, we see "Accessibility permissions" is turned off. This permission is required enhanced monitoring of your child's web activities and to prevent unauthorised uninstallation of the Norton Family parental control app.

Please enable all the required permissions for the app to function seamlessly. Refer to this support document for assistance in this regard.

Also, please follow this help link to exclude "Norton Family" app from Battery optimisation in Xiomi device.

Thanks,

Pradheep
