The Walmart.ca site hides product details when I have VPN turned on. Do I need VPN turned on to be safe to purchase on this site?

If you are using your home network that is properly protected with a strong wifi password, you do not need a VPN.   A VPN will protect your connection if you are using a public wifi hotspot that does not require a password.
