www.googleadservices.com’s server IP address could not be found.

The error message "www.googleadservices.com’s server IP address could not be found" is given when clicking on Google generated ads after a search. It occurs when VPN is turned on, but the link works with VPN off.  The same happens with Chrome and Firefox.

Why have a VPN if it has to be turned off  for Google searches?

This has been reported for a long time now and no solution other than turning off VPN has been offered.

An example which reports this error with VPN on is:

Re: www.googleadservices.com’s server IP address could not be found.

Many web sites do not allow access from known VPN IP addresses. They do this for copyright, legal, security, and political reasons. There is nothing a VPN provider can or should do to circumvent these legal protections. See this How to Geeks article.   https://www.howtogeek.com/403771/why-do-some-websites-block-vpns/

It would seem that Google Services want to know your exact location. It is a Google problem, not a problem with Norton's VPN.

I was using Mcafee before and using VPN and I never had a problem accessing the websites that I now cant access?
