mobile unlock for Norton password manager

Mobile unlock has stopped working all of a sudden. Under settings it gives error as no device found (although my device had been working till now). Tried all solutions provided therein including adding device again from my mobile app. The solution do not work. I have one plus nord on Oxygen OS 12.1 / Android 12/ / AC2001_11_F.21 and desktop windows 11. Need help to restart mobile unlock.

While trying different options, I reset date and time and synchronized it (although the laptop was showing correct date and time). This seems to have worked and NPM mobile unlocking started working.

However, I would like to thank you for your continuous support and encouraging me to continue to look for solution.

Any chance you got a new phone number, or an update to the OS on your device?

Try uninstalling Norton Password Manager from the phone. Then restart the phone. Then follow the directions in the image you posted to set up the Mobile Unlock again.

I'm still using my 3 years old phone. OS has not been updated recently. I had reinstalled Norton password manager in my mobile. This did not help and it gives same error. Thanks for your response.

Just to confirm, did you restart your phone after uninstalling Norton Password Manager, NPM, and before the reinstall?

Just to be sure, once again uninstalled NPM, restarted my phone, installed NPM, signed in and clicked "List this device for Desktop Unlock". It still does not work.

I had a feeling that the issue might be with chrome. Removed NPM, opened chrome web store and reinstalled NPM extension.

However, this also failed. Now only possibility is issue with NPM itself?

Any chance you are using an insider build of Windows 11? If so that could be causing the issue you are seeing.

What version of Chrome are you using? 

Can you try using Edge to see if you still have the issue with that browser?

Windows 11 Home Single Language
Version    22H2
Installed on    ‎05-‎10-‎2022
OS build    22621.2134
Experience    Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22659.1000.0

2. My chrome version- 

Chrome is up to date

Version 116.0.5845.97 (Official Build) (64-bit)

3. No its not working with MS edge also. It has an error message that request sent to mobile device failed. This is different than chrome - in chrome message was 'No device found'

I don't think to ask about date and time these days as the later Windows versions usually keep track of that better than the older versions. This was a good find on your part. Good detective work.

mobile unlock is not working. how do i get it to work. Is there any way to force norton to update the vault on my computer and on my iphone.

Today i change password on account. I also changed every version on norton. When I tried to signon, it used old password instead of new one.
