I use Chrome but also IE  and I kept getting message my vault password was wrong.  Help I hope I didn't lose them all!

What happened before this event? Have you rebooted? Can you provide some added details about your system and the versions of the programs you are using?

I had logged off normally and the next day I couldn't access it.  I have vista home premium I use norton 360 and I sometimes use firefox or IE.

Very upsetting.

Well like a dolt I tried to get back into it by sayin I forgot my password not knowing if you do that you lose all your info on it if I read it right.  I have been able to make a new password to a NOW EMPTY  vault!  What should I do in the future when I have this problem?

Hi,

You know now that your password is the main key to your vault. I'd suggest two things. First, keep a secure backup of your vault contents using the export feature on a regular basis. Second I would record, in a secure location, my vault password so that I don't have to go about rebuilding it. It will be easier when you have the backup but it is still a pain.
