Norton Utilities Premium

Showing my loyalty to Norton for many years I have reinstated my automatic renewal and have downloaded NUP.

My browser of choice is Edge(Chromium) which I find is not cleaned by NUP  though it does clean the out of date IE browser. The user advice for NUP refers to 'browser' without specification and I believe also that NUP does clean other browsers.

I can see no reason why Norton should omit a widely used browser clean of Edge(Chromium) 

Will Norton be addressing this anomaly or have I taken on a utilities app without full facilities as I understand that Microsoft Edge is a browser of choice for an increasing number of users.

I have been in conversation with Norton via Facebook Messenger and am not getting anywhere. I recall that NU16 never really got updated for Windows 10 but  had hoped that NUP would at least clean MIcrosoft Edge as it does with other popular browsers.

I reinstated my automatic renewal to take advantage of what I expected from NUP which looks to have been a mistake with the reality of it not cleaning my browser of choice.

This edge chromium is good browser , i recommend you can try even better one brave browser supported chrome version with added features like ad blocker / tracker and other which might interest you. 

i did not try it with NUP works with brave browser supported chrome version but NUP worked fine with chrome last time i check so dont really have doubt for not working in brave browser.

give it a try and let us know if this works with NUP.

If NUP cleans Google Chrome Chromium, I don't understand why it hasn't been updated to clean Microsoft Edge Chromium.  Or is that what's different about Norton Utilities Ultimate?

Som is Having problems White IT and other not IT iS 50/50 try reinstall IT 1 ore 2 IT may fix IT and take All settings on if you you got a sad IT wont clene that try that

Thanks for your responses Globus5000 I have reinstalled utilities premium. They tried at first to get me to download the Ultimate version at large cost initially The reinstalled version still does not recognise Edge Chromium. It would seem Norton do not like Microsoft
