Password Manager does not work with Chrome (5/16/2022)

Google chrome and Norton password manager are not playing nice together. The issue looks occurs when I try to open a Chrome session and open my vault. The tab opens for a second and closes before I can enter my info. For a 3rd time this year, I have had to seek a solution to this recurring problem. I don't leave a chrome window running all the time, and the problem is observed after an initial session with chrome.
A solution that works 1X, is to uninstall and re-install the password manager. This method works long enough to get access to the password manager during that session, i.e. to validate the solution and say, yes it works for me. However, 2nd or 3rd time I open chrome, wanting to re-open my password manager, the window to confirm credentials opens and closes immediately with no data entry. Help me understand what might be invalid so that I don't have to reinstall each session that I want to use my vault.
I have additionally tried to open all security settings on this chrome, no joy. Does this issue have a root cause in the auto-lock vault feature?
