I think the operative word here is "external." Backup options are the C:\ drive or the Documents folder. I don't believe there is a setting to backup other drives.

You need to map your external drive to a drive letter in Windows Explorer for Norton to be able to recognize the drive as an available destination option.

2) Are you wanting to use Norton Backup to backup your personal files from an external drive to Norton Cloud Storage?
Did you plug in the external drive?
Does Norton Backup recognize the external drive?
