Why do I get E-mails to activate my subscriptions ,but when I check they are connected.

Check the sender's email address against this information. Is this email from Norton legitimate? If you cannot find the sender's email address there, it is one of many scam emails being sent out supposedly from big companies like Norton, McAfee, and Microsoft.
