TURN OFF THE NAG SCREENS!

I'm sick of the nag screens. Between work and home, I have spent thousands on Norton products over the past 25 years. Provide a way to turn off the nag screens or this will be my last purchase.

Re: TURN OFF THE NAG SCREENS!

EVERYTHING you do, EVERY STEP of the way, Norton will popup something or another offering you an upgrade on this or that.  Its like having AD-WARE within your own antivirus!!!  Now its getting in the way of critical processes like online verification between accounting software and gmail, and it is such a PAIN in the behind.

ALL THESE PRODUCTS, yet NORTON still has to "send me an email" warning me of scammers trying to contact me using Norton's name..  Seems like NORTON needs its OWN lifelock garbage.

I hear ya. If they don't provide an option to turn it off, it will be my last purchase.

Re: TURN OFF THE NAG SCREENS!

That task was performed when Norton 360 was first purchased.  Unfortunately, the "new" offers do not fall under those categories, so all it does is stop the old, outdated popups and adverts and intrusive internet hacks.

Re: TURN OFF THE NAG SCREENS!

Yeah. Tried that. Every time Norton updates, it resets it and I'm not certain it really ever works. I appreciate you posting your idea, but the real issue is that Norton still spams it's paying customers with nag screens. This should be an  opt-in rather than opt-out buried 3 layers from the home screen and it shouldn't default back to nag screens on every time it requires a software update.
