Password manager extension will not start on chrome nor edge

Password manager not working on any of my 3 computers.  It is working okay on my phone because I did NOT shut it down overnight as I did with the computers.  Password manager was working fine yesterday.  Restarted 3 computers today and password manager would not start up on chrome or edge.  Performed file cleanup and restart to no avail. Removed and reinstalled PM extension to no avail. The version number is 8.0.4.31.  When I click the icon it brightens but does not start.  

I can open the vault on the Norton website. 

What do I do?

Norton replied a while back that they were aware of the problem and it will be fixed in 4-5 hours.

It is NOW Fixed!

Norton please note.  Long ago on mainframes whenever we made a change that could affect ANY user, we had to test our changes very carefully.  We also had to have an immediate (Perhaps 10 minute) fallback to the version of software that was in place before the bad version was installed.  Will you please consider this process for updates to your software. Also, please put a note on the forum(s) to notify users when problems occur so that we don't all panic as I did today.

same here. Not working on any computer, any account any browser. tried: chrome, edge, brave, firefox. everywhere clicking on NPM does absolutelly nothing.

PW manager will not start on either Edge or Chrome.  Has disappeared from MyNorton, icon is dead.

Norton  tech support  looked at my PC, then told me there was a server problem, PW manager would be fixed in 6-8 hrs. Had placed the call to Norton at 8.38 AM EST.   It's now 6.27 PM, PW manager is still out.  Hope they keep working on it over the weekend.

Did you restart your PC? Some here reported that resolved the issue after Norton did their thing.
