Identity Safe obscures top portion of screen within Chrome browser

I saw another thread with this title dated October - November 2013 with the response from a Symantec Employee named Princila stating "Thanks for reporting this .We are aware of this issue and is being worked on. Thanks Princila"

I a having this issue as well. Has there been any updates or fixes for this problem? It's rather annoying to have move the Norton Toolbar every tie I want to see the top of the page.

I have Norton Toolbar under Chrome address bar on 32-bit Chrome.

Is there a difference on 64-bit Chrome.  I do recall the Thread you mention.  
How to post an image in the forums.

As I recall...at the time.  Norton's response was ...the issue is with Chrome page presentation.  
Super screen shots.  Thanks ... 
Chrome 32...I've noticed Toolbar is larger on homepage vs webmail page.
R U running Chrome 64-bit.  Does page zoom change issue.

I'm running Chrome 32 on W8.x 64-bit.   Toolbar does not conceal content for me.   I may hide Toolbar so, it shows for logins.  I'm not however able to duplicate your screenshots.  Hopefully, Chrome user and or staff will chime in.   Thanks

I'm just guessing on this since I don't use Chrome. Would any of this have to do with the monitor resolution? Does this happen with other sites besides YouTube?

Success always occurs in private and failure in full view. Windows 10 Pro 64 bit 2004 N 360 22.20.5.39 Chrome latest version.

Thanks Karthik, however I cant get the update to install, Norton Live Update insists everything is current and up to date, yet I still have version 21.7.0.11. I've rebooted, followed the instructions from your website and nothing has changed. What am I doing wrong???

Norton LU had nothing to do with updating Chrome Norton Toolbar Extension.  Extension update are by way of Chrome webstore.

Note : No need to run Product LiveUpdate:

               a) Automatically refreshed by Chrome Webstore after few restart of browser.

               b) If not, Can be updated manually by :

  •  Go to "chrome://extensions/" in chrome.
  •  Check 'Developer Mode' checkbox
  •  Click on 'Update Extensions now'

version 21.7.0.11 is Norton product version.  Toolbar version number as posted is Norton Security Toolbar: 2014.7.12.12

Norton Internet Security and Norton 360 21.7.0.11:

Norton Security Toolbar: 2014.7.12.12

Thanks bjm_, 21.7.0.11 toolbar 2014.7.12.12 is what I have, and I still have the "floating toolbar"effect. If I am understanding the page right the latest version is "Norton Toolbar Update 2015.2.1.11 for Google Chrome" per title of the page you linked me to. Which I don't have.

According to this page "This patch is only available via LiveUpdate, and is being released in a phased manner." 

The final answer is I'm still having the same problem as before.

The patch is for Product v22.2 not the Toolbar for v22.2
v22.2 patch is not for v21.7
Toolbar updates for Chrome as you know are updated by way of the Chrome webstore.

The Chrome Toolbar Update document that I link'd you to lists Toolbar versions for v20, v21 & v22 Norton products.

Since, you have updated and still experience "floating toolbar"effect.  IDK
Sorry, if my reply is/was not clear.
Hopefully karthikkn Employee will see your report.  karthikkn Employee may appreciate knowing issue remains. 
Maybe GURU will bump issue for you...

I still have this issue, for example using google docs, or any webapp really. Using the latest version Norton Security Toolbar 2015.2.1.11. Is it possible to use Identity safe without the norton toolbar?
