Newer Office Files are NOT included in Backup
I just found out that Norton has NOT updated the default file extensions for Office to be automatically included in your "My Documents" backup. Specifically -- *.accdb (Access) files are NOT backed up.
You have 2 choices, either place all of your ACCESS DB files in a single folder and back that folder up, OR update your backup set to include a specific ACCESS DB.
In addition, backing up "email" does NOT include your Outlook files. These need to be individually added to your backup set.
I recently relied upon my Norton Backup to recover my data after my Laptop crashed. Imagine my surprise when, through no fault of my own, this data was NOT on my backup drive.
