Crypto hardware requirements

There are systems out there, mine included, where the CPU and installed system memory blow the minimums out of the water being far beyond the minimums. They even have GPU's, integrated or otherwise where the GPU memory meets or exceeds 2 GB yet below the over the top 6 GB minimum for Crypto. The devices are more than capable of Crypto. Has Norton given ANY thought process to the GPU requirements and the current GPU issues globally, IE: costs and availability? Who, in their right mind would drop over $1k for a GPU to run Crypto even if they could afford it OR find a GPU available? Not many.I have machines seriously capable yet cannot use this offering. When opening the market in other parts of the world I believe that should be the ground shaker going forward for entry into those markets as well.

Update: I got a private response from the Norton Team as they appear to be monitoring this thread and the likewise reports in the EAP forums. My concern, coupled with the user base who have machines and hardware that most definitely will run Crypto, aren't relegated to the curb with HUGE GPU requirements. Therefore handing a smaller pool base to everyone who CAN make the pool larger AND, test the Crypto feature across a larger spectrum. Market share equates to larger profit as is with all things tech, having a huge testing base makes for a more solid product. I HOPE, that was what was conveyed to everyone reading. Lowering the bar and unchaining Crypto to that perverbial anchor is a win - win.
